Raindrop Therapy

Raindrop Therapy is a non-invasive tool for assisting the body in correcting defects in the curvature of the spine and chronic back pain as well as other health issues such as lung infections, digestive complaints, hormonal problems, liver insufficiencies, circulation and joint and bones.

D. Gary Young developed the Raindrop Therapy based on (a) his research with essential oils as antimicrobial agents, (b) his knowledge of the Vita Flex technique and its reflex points in the feet, and (c) fascinating information on finger stroking and its effect on the muscles and the nervous system that he learned from the Lakota people in South Dakota.

The use of undiluted essential oils in Raindrop Therapy is consistent with the French model for aromatherapy—which is the most extensively practiced and studied model in the world.  In the case of Raindrop Therapy, the use of certain undiluted essential oils typically causes minor reddening and “heat” in the tissues.  Normally, this is perfectly safe and something not to be overly concerned about.  Blondes, redheads, and persons whose systems are toxic can be more susceptible to this temporary reddening.  Should the reddening or heat become excessive, it can be remedied within a minute or two by the immediate application of several drops of pure, quality vegetable oil to the affected area.

Nine of the most potent therapeutic-grade essential oils are incorporated into the Raindrop Therapy.  All of these oils have been heavily researched and were selected to synergistically combine to simultaneously kill viral and bacterial pathogens, reduce inflammation, support the immune system, ease respiratory discomfort, relax stressed muscles, curb digestive upset and relieve body and joint discomfort, as well as balance energy, lift the spirit, restore calm and increase the ability to concentrate.

There are seven single essential oils used in the original Raindrop Therapy which are:

  • Oregano
  • Thyme
  • Basil
  • Cypress
  • Wintergreen
  • Marjoram
  • Peppermint

In addition, two essential oil blends are also incorporated to further facilitate energy balancing and muscle relaxation.  They are:

  • Valor
  • Aroma Siez

There are other types of Raindrop Therapy which utilize oils specific to the treatment of:

  • Heart/circulation
  • Brain
  • Joints/Bones
  • Longevity
  • Colon/Digestion
  • Hormone Balance
  • Lungs
  • Liver

A Raindrop Therapy Session is usually an hour in length.
